Privacy Policy

Bextree is built around wallet-based access rather than traditional accounts, so we collect far less personal information than a typical web platform. This policy explains what we do collect, why, and how it's used.

1. What we collect

Wallet addresses. When you connect a wallet to Bextree, we see and store your public wallet address to associate it with listings, bids, and settlements. A wallet address is public, on-chain data — it isn't "personal data" in the traditional sense, but we disclose it here because it is tied to your activity on the platform.

IP addresses. Like most websites, our servers log IP addresses as part of normal request handling, for security and diagnostic purposes.

Contact form submissions. If you reach out to us through a contact form, we collect whatever information you voluntarily provide (such as your message and, if given, an email address) in order to respond to you.

We do not collect email addresses or passwords for account purposes — Bextree has no traditional account system, so there's nothing of that kind to collect in the first place.

2. No sale of data

We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Third-party services

We use Supabase to host our database and power realtime features (such as live bid updates).

4. Analytics

Bextree uses analytics services, including Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Vercel Analytics, to understand how visitors use the website and documentation, improve the platform, and monitor performance. These services may collect information such as pages visited, browser type, device information, approximate geographic region, and (in the case of session-analytics tools) anonymized interaction data such as clicks and scrolling. No blockchain wallet private keys or sensitive authentication data are collected through these analytics services.

5. Blockchain data is public and permanent

This is a crypto product, and it's worth being direct about what that means: once you connect a wallet and transact through Bextree, the resulting transactions are recorded on a public blockchain. That record is permanent and outside of Bextree's control — we cannot edit, hide, or delete on-chain activity, no matter what happens to our platform or your account with us. Anyone can view a wallet's transaction history using a public block explorer.
